Back Pack Program
Triumph is proud to partner with the Great Plains Food Bank Backpack Program. A tangible, and simple way to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the Fargo/Moorhead area. The Backpack Program exists to meet practical (food) needs of children by supplying them with food over the weekend, when they otherwise may go without. Here's how you can be a part of the Backpack Program:
In the foyer, you will find a backpack donation box. Each month we will highlight foods that Triumph will be specifically collecting. You can place items in those boxes at any time. A complete list of food items needed is available on the great plains food bank website. You can also give funds to directly support the backpack program. It costs $4.25 to fill a backpack for the weekend for one child. To sponsor a child for one year its $162 . Funds can be given directly to Triumph, or to the Great Plains Food Bank.
A variety of single-serve items are used in packing Back Packs. Anything microwavable and easy to open is welcome! The top 5 food items are:
Individual 4-6 oz. Juice Boxes
Granola Bars (individually labeled)
Individual Cereal Boxes (individually labeled)
Easy Mac (Individual Portions)
Each Month, the Triumph Backpack Committee will list dates that are available to go to Great Plains Food Bank to help pack backpacks, or other needs that the Great Plains Food Bank may have.

Kids as young as 4 years are welcome to participate and fill bags!
